Their 4-0 win against Barcelona ranks alongside the 2005 final against AC Milan for sheer spirited turnarounds. Many counted them out. And it’s easy to see why given they trailed 3-0. But Liverpool have a knack for this sort of thing and Jurgen Klopp’s side delivered a truly memorable performance. Divock Origi’s early goal gave them confidence and Georginio Wijnaldum, a half-time substitute, scored twice in two minutes to level the tie on aggregate. Fans breathtaking ‘YNWA’ rendition Robertson mugs off Suarez Klopp swears in post-match interview Then, in the 79th minute, Origi smashed home from close range following quick thinking from Trent Alexander-Arnold to book Liverpool’s place in the final. While the celebrations will have run long into the night on Merseyside, spare a thought for Lionel Messi. Messi ‘left behind by Barcelona bus’ This was supposed to be the year Messi reclaimed his place at the top of football’s pyramid by winning the treble with Barcelona. But that dream is over now, with Barcelona fluffing their lines in the Champions League for the second season in a row. And things got even more miserable for the Argentinian when he was left behind at Anfield by Barcelona’s team bus. According to Spanish television channel El Chiringuito – and brought to our attention by the Mirror – Messi was held back by anti-doping testers. Barcelona, in no mood to hang about, left for the airport and their star man made alternative arrangements to join up with his teammates after providing a sample. Messi declined the media as he walked through the mixed zone after the defeat, his glum face proof of his disappointment. It means another year without a Champions League trophy for Messi and Barcelona. Not since 2015 have the Blaugrana been European champions, a rather questionable drought considering they have the best player in the world.

But the Rangers boss plans to soak up every minute as he looks to give the Ibrox faithful the same kind of thrill ride his old club experienced on Tuesday night. Gerrard took daughter Lourdes back to his old stomping ground to watch Jurgen Klopp’s side recover a three-goal deficit as they swept into the Champions League final with a daring recovery. But the tension-filled final stages as the Reds clung on to a 4-0 triumph was too much for the former Liverpool skipper to handle, so he made his excuses and left. However, the game served as a reminder of the nights of passion the Gers manager has experienced already in his first year in charge in Glasgow and has now fired his desire to get Ibrox rocking again next season. Inside Anfield shows new footage of Liverpool 4-0 Barcelona Liverpool have PL and CL victory parades planned Liverpool fans attending CL final might need to spend £1,500 “My nerves the other night at Anfield were difficult to control,” confessed Liverpool’s 2005 Champions League-winning skipper. “I had to leave before the end once it was 4-0. I had my seven-year-old daughter with me and I used that as an excuse to go, saying she had school the next day. “But really it was more about my nerves – God knows what the players were going through. I don’t think I’d have been able to cope with seeing either Coutinho, Suarez or Messi break my heart. “So I decided to beat the traffic and get out of there before it went wrong. “It’s different being a manager in those circumstances because you prepare yourself for big games. You get yourself fired up. “But as a fan, you go relaxed then all of a sudden a dream starts brewing and you think ‘wow’. On Tuesday when it went 1-0, I was thinking, ‘If we get one more this is game on’ – then it came… “But the longer it went, there was just too many quality players on the pitch so I had to get out. “The emotion and the passion I saw at Anfield is very similar to what you get at Ibrox. “As a fan an ex-player, Tuesday was probably the best atmosphere I’ve seen at Anfield. It took me back to Chelsea when we scored the Luis Garcia goal, to Olympiakos – the big games I experienced myself. “It also took me back to the Old Firm atmosphere here in December, the last 15 minutes against Rapid Vienna here in the Europa League. “I hope as manager of this club I experience more big nights like that as Ibrox, alongside Anfield, is a special arena for football and it’s mine and the players’ responsibility to give these fans some good times. “Being at Anfield reminded me of how special it would be to give these fans some success.”

The Reds trail 3-0 on aggregate after last week’s first leg at Camp Nou, and need something special if they’re to reach a second successive European Cup final. And as Klopp searches for something miraculous against Lionel Messi and the Spanish champions, he is set to hand the 19-year-old his competitive Liverpool debut. But, he has had to bide his time. Last summer, he gave serious consideration to following Jadon Sancho’s pathway and heading to Germany, amid interest from Borussia Monchengladbach and RB Leipzig; with his contract ticking down, Brewster was ready to push for a Bundesliga switch. The message was clear for Brewster that opportunities would be forthcoming under the German, and he subsequently inked a five-year contract. However, he has spent the entirety of the current campaign on the outside looking in, having undergone surgery on a serious ankle and knee injury suffered playing for the Under-23s in January 2018. okay good evening hi nesto how can you explain what happened tonight after so much lack of concentration mistakes it was a bit like Rome and you how can you explain how we were knocked out it's happened again happened last year it's true that there's been different games first like in second like we they started really well they kept the Pinder's back early go we reacted well after that we managed to control things a little bit later on the second in the second half of the first half we had half chances to score I think that we conceded two goals and then they really kind of got on top of us after those two quick concessions we haven't managed to just get on the scoresheet tonight they scored two in two and they kind of rolled us over really they've been really strong they played really well we've just got a we've got to congratulate them on the performance that brought up in the tie as a whole it's a terrible result for our fans of ourselves we wanted to wouldn't expect a situation like this and this is what's up and Sue's is really really unfortunate well how did you to Liverpool football wise how many explanations are there for tonight there are certain games of football which are just inexplicable well can you find an explanation for tonight yes the rest is really really high they run quite a few risks we couldn't settle of course like any game if the opposition is bought into huge pressure and the rob you of the ball near to your own box they're gonna if you can't stop that and if you don't punishment punish them with their rare chances that you have then this is what's gonna happen we gave the ball away too close to our own area they were really driven on by the support of their own funds they pushed as hard and sort of morale wise it was really hard to pick ourselves up the two girls that came one after another had a huge effect pushed them forward and we couldn't resist that we tried we tried to sort of sit a little bit deeper to try and grab hold of the game once they got to three all but with the fourth goal that was it that ended the tie for us of the fourth goal going it we couldn't respond the fourth goal we just referred to it was a dead ball everyone seems to be surprised by the speed at which the corner was taken was a lack of attention from the defense and even the flares themselves were was surprised when when it went a little – I don't know what happened i don't happen it was a really quick reaction from liverpool we we've been we've been really prepared for dead ball situations because we know they're strong in that position dead balls the dangerous was it was a surprising play and it did surprise us have you managed to spend some time in the dressing room what's what message have you given to the lads in the dressing room yes we're really down after that when you have a battle light tonight you need so really you're gonna go through some really tough few days like all our fans as well we're going to suffer the funds will suffer as well that's what it's like you have to go through this penitence and then with time not got long to go to the end of the league season we've got the cup still to fight for and we have got to really finish the season well on a high after this well for the moment it's just we were blown away it's terrible what would you say it's the vasa fans understand after they've suffered this defeat we're really sorry everything that we do everything that we were playing for everything that footballers do for their living is is to satisfy the funds and bring joy to the funds and so they can be proud of the the players well this is football these things can happen everyone hopes of this doesn't happen but it can take place we've had painful defeats in the past before law it's the Champions League this is the first game we've lost this season the Champions League and we're out it is what it is we're all together there whatever funds and players whatever happens we stay united players have to take their responsibility for the defeat and we do the players are who at the end of the day they're the ones out there on the field who play when we win we were happy and when we lose we feel upset and sad why did you decide to take Arturo Vidal off and I thought why did he come on what were your thoughts behind that change did you see that you looked tired or I think I thought I did really well after the first half he kept his in the game that's what we once said he was providing a role that he wants in the middle of the park he was a little bit tired because he always gives everything he kept his permanently in a game with it we realized we needed another solution another person to solve the problems last last question fourth goal how do you explain the fourth goal what what sensation do you have what feelings do you have after that how could everyone be so confused that situation is is it make it even more painful than to come see the goal like that every goal are painful to concede if every goal is an error on behalf of someone if you give a corner away or someone lost the ball prior to the corner every goal that we concede we have to accept blame someone's always responsible and it's the same way when Liverpool conceded three in the new pump they would have been down some errors of some sorts during the game others obviously you saw the you saw the situation clearly that when I looked up and saw it was already in the net people weren't looking and what can you say they scored against is we weren't concentrating thank you and good night you

and his thoughts on the evening in just a moment we've got the Indian Premier League and of course on beat in sports right now tomorrow we've got the Royals against the Royal Challengers from Bangalore on HD 13 through 17 and 20 Mecca right Alexander lacquer set score of Arsenal's second tonight here is Alex 10 home Premier League wins in a row and you're up to third in the Premier League tonight yeah I didn't know it was 10 million Aruba we know – now we have the opportunity to be fed so we wanted to 20 cm of course and not play well we we listen all the father what the coach asked us and it was good was a certain amount of patience needed tonight yeah because is a different world we know it was a good good team defensively so we had to be patient and to be efficient in front of the ball we even looking out to have another girl at the end there the one that was disallowed yeah yeah yeah was a good action even if my set to to about was not good but I'm happy with call one and everybody's happy tonight at all so the Champions League is open what do you need to do to go through it to play like like tonight be good defensively of a clean sheet and score many goals so if we do this at the end of course we go to a chimpanzee and the manager seems to kick every ball on the touch line how much of an influence is in Miami in the moment in the beginning he believed in us he wanted to play from the front behind to to the the box so yes we try to do what you want and the moment is good is he giving you the belief that you can succeed and get what you want this season yeah of course since the Cynthia sign for the club if you say yes we can go to champasak but we have to believe in us to play our football and this is that's 13 Premier League goals for you this season is this turning out to be the best season of your career do you think maybe no it's not renew so I try every day to be the to be the best it's a great way well don't thank you thanks Arsenal go third as Andy said there's a plenty of jockeying ahead on Tuesday and Wednesday night this week one word to sum up what we've seen there tonight then from Arsenal's point of view one what to sum up that Arsenal satisfactory yeah job done they knew obviously better when would give them a little bit of breathing space because Toulouse thought no teams law have to win they can't draw or the one castle they have to win so that was a big three points for them in that respect and so I think satisfactory Newcastle will disappoint enrich other from one us and they were lately we're at the beginning of the season sometimes flat nothing they're never offered a thing an attack not a thing absolutely punch list tonight I felt for Salomon one God I've played up there I know what it's like when you go away as I did when I was a kid to some of these girls and field and whole Trafford and wonder about for the in the minutes and I'll get a cake and think what happened there and you know and that's what Rondon felt like to attempt I was only at yep they had on goal on eight Newcastle so I was disappointed that nothing happened in the second half and they didn't get better but I still it was functional a little too much of overplay for me like when Aston was criticized in his pomp when he was here they sometimes over played too much took an extra pass an 18-yard box on edge of the box that they didn't need they would guilty of that today but they were never friend never 63 points they have which is the same as they got last year Vanga so they have made progress haven't no I think it's pretty terrific season for an IME I said to you earlier I thought if he can get up there he keeps top six and his first season there sifted through these players to find out who wants to keep her he doesn't I still think you miss him I really do I think he's a big mistake from arsal and I'd love to know the reason why Allen Ramsay's contract offer was was drawn because it doesn't make any sense to me particularly doesn't make footballing sense to me so you know they were just at this moment in time in this game they were just too good dominant man it was just too easy for them but it's a really good season for them I think they'll be delighted Arsenal hierarchy obviously later do now Emily no everyone else knows about us and if they got chat Beasley can you believe if they got Champions League what a statement that would be for memory be terrific very much yeah very much second was a good tape yeah yeah I mean I means s Obama young I mean it looks like a scruffy hair W sees he sees the run and all he's trying to do is get it beyond ourselves get the last thought to the patch to give his me a chance and once and the other company I was talking about players that tend to go sideways and backwards getting busy here you watch him during the football match yes he wants to go forward yeah all the time ask him then go to Laketown Assam Bengal eight players to play forward he's 19 Richard and he plays like an 18 year old always looks to pass forward always looks to run forward commentators mentioned that effervescent irreversible yeah absolutely but he's in he's a kid he's a baby only in 18 years of age and he's come from I think the second division in France he's been thrown and his lips not out of place he's look comfortable right let me ask you because next year I suspect these things will be a talking point had we had var tonight with us not only a goal to the good would it have been referred and had it we might this decision have been different what for me no for me no there's Poldark Slaton Anthony Taylor's very quickly season or two or three players around I've received yeah say judge you on the reaction of players that ball could very well have been coming across the goal it would have been beaten a black as it was dragging it back for himself not there and if it was all yeah I know that but where is she's had we know sleaze handy but with it was well listen I'd agree with you but I'm just putting myself into a situation I gave my others next year in a var Banco look at that in slow motion that's the other thing in slow motion and in slow motion it looks a good deal worse than it actually is real let me qualify what I've said I said I wouldn't do it I wouldn't refer it I thought the same at the peristyle German Manchester late again what I did I couldn't even believe it was referred not only could I believe it was referred that could believe it was then given as a penalty so let me see that right away so I don't think that would I would never have referred that a famine that that the Arab never because it's a normal slating tackle these hands are they're they're not a way up here and an awkward position I wouldn't ever fear that by do get your point I think you're right I think there'll be some officials in the room will give up anyway and then that's why it's wrong because it's an opinion not a fact yes there's a difference between well there's a minimal difference between the two isn't that the fact as I've argued a lot this year becomes opinion yeah very very quick very quickly so I don't know that that'll be interesting as I said I'm not I'm not looking forward to in actually yeah there's a lot of people loving bar seeing it well it's going to be the be-all and end-all of and sort football I don't like football to become clinical I don't want every decision to be 100 percent okay you're okay in that respect because I don't believe it will be the Utopia that many have argued and I think is Martin setting commentary Martin was a great advocate at one time for var even he said in commentary it'll just give us different things to argue about if that's the case what's the point why what's the point yeah you see if something is not I'm a great advocate if something's not broken it doesn't need fixing and predominantly football isn't broken you will get those who argue and I understand that to our look this weekend Cardiff wouldn't have been penalized in the manner that they were but Eddie smart the linesman if he's just doing his job shouldn't have needed var to get him out of trouble should he I'm classified I do it know and and and if Neil Warnock was here he'd probably tell me that it wasn't a true but I don't know but there must have been a game this year where a decisions gone car this way and got them a point in the game I maybe got them three points in a game right that the dish says you wait for them now he would see no because they've never had the decision well we we saw one recently early season Benitez was demanding the better and yet the last time they won it was with a goal that he wouldn't have been giving a seven but we have it under vs you can't have it both ways you can have it once all in it and that's why I think that you know they listen it's changing I understand that I people like we will have to accept it and I don't mean accepted if it's right and if it works right no for me it's not right and it doesn't work and that's the worry I have a bit

hi guys welcome to full-time Devils this is tomorrow's transfers today number 57 and we've only got one to one tomorrow's transfers today left after this and Thursday transfer deadline a that is all we've got to talk about well all we've got left of the transfer window we've got lots to talk about today including Harry Maguire II mean at us mind Dembele of Robert Levin dusky huh what's going on with that one you'll find out what's going on with all of these rumors shortly we're talking Harry Maguire II meaning ghost mine Ben belly and of course Robert Levin dusky in today's tomorrow's transfers today and covering what's in the press tomorrow and there's going to be loads of other stuff as well but unable to get everything if I did I'd be here until the window slams shut himself it's getting to that time of the summer silly season I can see all of your comments coming through Connor Jordan ran Jake mahi all of your comments are coming through nice they'll remember I'll be answering your questions as well during the show but let's get stock in to the first update which is Harry McGuire now the Manchester Evening News or Manchester Evening News rather or the NBN is what I was going to say initially have reported an update on this transfer now Manchester Knight have been linked with the center half Toby are the v-rod the area mean a Harry Maguire this that and the other we've been linked with loads of centre-back and it seems Manchester night it might be prioritized and sent about over right wing as we go into the close of the window Harry McGuire and he's been one of those targets and Claud poo Alan's been speaking to Sky Sports today about the man himself well as he's not only just been speaking about the man who has been speaking about a lot of his players and what he said was discussed the Harry Maguire moved with the owner they want to keep him at the club they're not willing to let him go he also said when speaking about another couple of players we are happy to keep them and to stop I hope a great season now we've already found out that Harry Maguire isn't going to be involved against mansion on Friday but I don't actually think United are gonna make a move room I think it could possibly be told me either Vera that Manchester United ended up signing that's just me guessing I don't know anything I'm not in the null or anything like that but I don't think the NBN and I don't think Sky Sports everything all Eva but I do think law provides in the norm and he's seemingly confident of keeping Harry Maguire at the club you would expect him to say that though because even if we were in from and we're gonna make a bid then it raises that bit up a little bit doesn't it and if soon as he says you know what we're looking to sell it then the price drops so I can see why prabhu Ali's coming out and saying but to be honest I can't see him coming to Manchester United not this summer anyway cheesy says big off all the way from Jamaica and he would love Auslan dembélé you know in our predict six or seven this wah I don't think it's that bad guys I don't think it that bad hey is there any truth in the fact that manchester United have agreed terms with Toby I the very well as far as I'm aware not at this moment in time if anything does pop up I will of course let you guys know but at this moment in time nothing on told yard the Vera that is concrete moving on next to Gary mean and Iyer Amina is been linked with Manchester Naya daur summer is a potential alternative to Toby out of era – Harry McGuire has also been linked with Everton and of course Leon as well I don't think Manchester United are actually in for this guy I think he could possibly have been an alternative probably 456th on the list I don't think he would actually improve Manchester United a whole lot and I don't think he's much better than what we've got at the moment he could become much better and in five years time he could still play for Barcelona and tearing it up people may look back at distance they had him what were you talking about but right now I don't think is an improvement on any of our center hearts and that's exactly what we need and I don't think Gary mean it brings that the metro have brought an update all because marker are reporting that Gary Mena is now training alone and they've said that that means you know I hit Everton early on could have a free run to the player between now and the close of the window as I said though I don't think yeah Romina will be coming to sheiva talking about players that aren't gonna be coming to Manchester United from Barcelona your man cool smart Dembele now he's been linked with Arsenal for a while he's been linked with Arsenal now we're smart they're ballet Mundo Deportivo and this had been picked up by some of the English press including the Metro I say Manchester I'd have worked on a rival Austin and for Smart them belly as Marcy Al's replacement now we've already heard from reliable sources including Simon stone that Manchester died aren't going to let him go and samasya so is seemingly absolute rubbish we're gonna have to expect loads of this stuff going on people saying as there's guys at airports people saying they've got this flight tracks people saying they've seen this man that Greg's us in this agent here this in this player up the the Larry hope I'm ready for it all but you know what only about 1% of it is true so take everything you've read with a pinch of salt including this awesome and then fill a story I do not think it will be a target for Manchester United and I don't think Anthony Maciel will be going anywhere and also guys also also if Joe's they can't get anything out of Anthony maciel why would we give him or swandam belly it doesn't make any sense doesn't make any sense then Bella doesn't even really over right now he needs regular football minutes on the pitch and what do you get that a United or buy some it's probably getting a United because we haven't got a right winger but it's probably gonna want to get it a Barcelona I'm either he's not coming to United man I know that player is he coming to United can you see the feem here guys can you see the feem appeal how you doing by the way Jack tape how you doing Bob he just said randomness is boring apparently Boateng has come out and said as well this has been reporting in Germany that he doesn't want to sign for Manchester United thanks for the interest but we don't want you to sign well let me tell you something – wrong Boateng if you've been watching tomorrow's transfers today you all know we don't want you to sign either so thanks for doing us a favor anyway moving on to one of his teammates robert levin dosti now that expressed our report in the manchester united up in for him now listen to this absolute rubbish guys this is where the trance has truly peep with the stupidness here we go football finance expert Kieran McGuire who the who is that who's that tell him I when I'm worried because he's an idiot anyway the Express I'm reporting on this guy's football finance expert talking about transfers what now and apparently this guy has said Manchester now equipped by Levin dusky and play him out wide I'm glad that we know I've only got two days to go guys because these are the kind of stories we've got to deal with football finance expert Kieran Maguire predicting you're not either gonna sign Levin dusky because he could play out wide now wouldn't surprise me if Joe's a Mourinho sign Levin dusky and played him out wide that wouldn't surprise me but what does surprise in fact it doesn't surprise me why the hell are the Express making a whole story unleavened dusky to man United because of this douche Keira Maguire who's apparently a football finance expert but also an expert on Manchester United's transfers and Manchester United's in and out who the hell is this dude exactly I don't know either Matt thank you for watching MUFC gamers says thanks Michael thank you for watching Luis you're right Adam is human Kyra McGuire is Harry McGuire cousin says Louisville moist well he if Harry McGuire's got the big head he must have the pea brain in that family bloody idiot ma he thank you for you coming Abin maybe you could suffice deeper how people add qualifications when they're dumb as I know me i nord young 11 dusk is gonna play dear says Brian love you too sir Burbank's why are we not in bazaar ha I don't again another young white player I know we need a right-winger book I don't think Jose is the man for me he wants a Willie and he wants a Paris if you're gonna get anyone get him one of those but I don't think we are the cub the board had been awful this transfer window they should have gotten rid of a lot more players so jobs they could have bring in some more of his own players and they haven't so I was gonna have a big season Ciskei DAPA yes Islander how you doing Elliot says can anyone do a fancam yes you can and we'll be back for fancams on Friday night outside Old Trafford I for one cannot wait to be back at Old Trafford and all there's a lot of negativity around the club at the moment maybe but any season comes along as soon as Friday cons I'll be going to all traffic thinking let's win the league because that's how you've got to start every single season even if it is a little bit of delusion you know what in the team if Josie Marino's fixes up if our frontline fixes up and if bei year Linda laughs can stay fit and we signed and sent a half who knows what could happen who knows because we've certainly got the players there and if you look at Alexis Sanchez Anthony Marcio Marcus rash with Romany Lukaku Paul Pogba Jesse lingard one man you have to get goals out of that team so if we can defend get out of a round in before this window closes get beiieve it get Lindelof up to scratch hopefully shaw comes through and let's go for it man we have to just go for it let's hope josée does anyway guys thank you for watching full time Devils we'll be back tomorrow I'm not gonna be back tomorrow I am back there on Thursday summation in keeping it locked for that and of course thank you for watching like share subscribe I love you all as always even you trolls and guys have you seen there's a new show now called catfish trolls so be careful you don't wind up on there yet happy tweeting have been commenting on YouTube and for now guys I have been out of a caller

hello welcome back answer that Monday that it is that time again on one football it's time for the Daily News make sure of course to subscribe if you are new to one football unlike that god damn video anyway on today's show we're gonna be talking about tapping up of course Marco Silver's move to Everton I'm going to be discussing saw me get another defender that rejected Manchester United and to finish things off we're a bit of one matter glory you one one one it's you and one anyway let's get this party started first up let's talk about Everton Watford Marco silver and a little bit of tapping up tapping up in football is when a club approaches a player or a coach without the permission of the other club that currently owns that player of course Everton doing that at Marco silver last autumn Everton sacking Raul cumin and looking to replace him with of course the Portuguese tactician they didn't go through the correct methods in speak to Watford in get permission to talk to Marco silver doing all the naughty stuff what could happen of course to Everton is they could get a points deduction and we're gonna have the fine farm machinery and of course the number of the Everton board need to submit some documents and some phone records to an individual board that's going to be looking into the situation if they of course I found it will be as I mentioned before a lot of money and a few points potentially deducted the last time this happened in English football of course was when Ashley Cole signed for Chelsea Chelsea illegally approached Ashley Cole Mourinho got fired Ashley Cole got fined Chelsea got fined three hundred thousand pounds and we're deducted three future points if they were to do it again now something that could see with Everton Watford are really angry about the situation because they fell it derailed best season Marco silver eventually getting sacked around January after winning one game in eleven and they felt that they were pushed into a situation where they're fighting relegation naughty stuff there if you ever gonna buy someone get a bit accepted first anyway let's move on to the second a little bit of news today and that is about soul niggas and Barcelona so Shawne the guys they're obviously plays four letter code Madrid fantastic central midfielder arguably could do absolutely everything pretty complete in terms of you can shoot you can tackle can win the ball back you can carry it think the goal that he scored against Bayern Munich in the Champions League a few seasons ago wow what a talent but Barcelona have a first refusal a first refusal in football for example in this case as if another well let's say Manchester United come in and bid for Solna guess if the big gets accepted Barcelona will have that similar bid accepted by Athletico Madrid and will be able to speak to Saul in the gaze and offer him a contract imagine the midfield though maybe Sergio Busquets sitting and there may be messy partnering sorna gets in midfield that could happen but Saul did sign a new nine-year deal last season taking him to around 2023 with Atletico Madrid at the ripe age of 31 don't expect this move to go through but of course if someone gets a bit accepted by Athletico Vassar could be the guys coming in and stealing that transfer but interesting stuff there a fine midfielder whose were more tackles than any other player in La Liga since the start of last season 145 tackles one winning 67% of his tackles and of course averaging around 5.5 per game that's why we're talking about completeness sauna gars what a midfielder let's move on to another defender that rejected Manchester United in the summer this time Lucas Hernandez is there any defender in European football that hasn't rejected United get into the comments I don't know I think everyone Panucci Ramos pique the rows of the list goes on no no Nam anyway Lucas Hernandez has a release clause of letter Co Madrid around 71 million pounds Mannie Knights have got a bit accepted over the summer of course if you bid that money you get that sore you know the chance to talk to the guy no tapping up involved there the United was set to double his wages Lucas and Anders rejected the deal saying onto the state let it go Madrid for me that's a good decision for Lucas Hernandez I've let to go really building a quality side this season and fullbacks vitally important in Diego Simeone side the 442 has moved to a 4-2 – – when they have possession the wide players move inside to become interiors and the full-backs get really high and provide that with we saw over the World Cup the Lucas and an Dez I've got a bit of quality in the final third something that you wouldn't expect for a player that's usually a center half in terms of did ham against Cardiff Chelsea played Brighton and spurs play Crystal Palace on an evening when their new stadium will be officially open mention Alan Ramsey when we started now importantly been to Arsenal down the years and again tonight his goal separates the team yes captain tonight and he's been terrific he's led by example he's been active he's been he's given a typical Alan Ramsey performance Richard got involved in midfield and a build-up and balls wouldn't get here to play get forward to get chances they get a little bit of luck with a ball it could have gone anywhere it's not the most beautifully struck short by a man damn G but it's accurate and it does find the bottom corner bit I spend a half for me that shirt is not offside the areas in Lane that Sean is what I still do lovely football lots of it sometimes for me one two too many passes when they get in the last stunt that didn't happen that time and and a typical early performance against a top team from UK so no real threat try at least stay in the game and I'm not like they do they could stay in the game twenty minutes from the end they might just throw people forward and have a goal so it's been a very typical for performers from from both teams could have been – did Anthony Taylor get it right when he disallowed the first goal yeah I'd be really upset if I was Alan Ramsey about Socrates because I don't think I don't know if legends get into that as if lecture you can seem as you make a move toward the ball but I think when you see that welcome through the air I think Michigan was really struggling to affect the flight of the ball therefore I don't think he needed to pull him he's looking through a lot of players Antony Tila but if he sees that I think he's always going to give a Foley did he give a penalty if probably not I would guess probably not not in that situation no I know he wouldn't know and right on halftime it again could have been – as I see they've kept themselves and the only just takes them out Ricci again decent play from arsal has been good at saying when they've injected about a piece like this in a play I've enjoyed that but it hasn't happened often enough for me and luck as it does reversal well because he's got to control it swivel and head tone you know what really good play from that red ship saw danger thought gone blocked some of the goal you know you look what he's come from he's at the edge of the box but he's just kept going the goalkeeper without a goal there you can see the goalkeeper and that's pit and that's why Matt went on the lane terrific play and he's actually not just blocked it he's turned it away with the purpose yeah koogler Lee's gonna do be doing that last name good emerging online so go and take a look for yourselves if you want more but the allegation here is that Jordan Pickford Everton an England goalkeeper is in the middle of this melee throwing haymakers and Everton have told us tonight they are investigating further a night out in Sunderland that would appear to have gone wrong if indeed the individual in the middle of this tape is proven to be Jordan Pickford I think they make the clue maybe an Everton are investigating it I thought that yeah yeah yeah and if you listen to the audio a lot of people are suggesting it's Jordan anyway and we can only act on the speculation that we have Vandy and it is suggested it it's alleged in fact that he's Jordan Bigford investigations by Everton continue one of these young men put themselves in that situation but yeah you seen the can't go for any hope no it's not into the main city center like why

I want to bring to the stage Dmitry shishkin Dmitry is the Digital development editor at BBC World services group and he's going to talk to us about five things to consider with multilingual digital publishing Dmitry thank you very much it's a delight to be in Barcelona again and they delight to be taking part in this event specifically just one caveat my job is called digital development editor but I'm not editing anything at the moment I'm not developing anything I can't code and I my job basically is to look after all of these guys who edit that their own websites there I BBC doesn't use in 28 different languages and my job is basically to be an enabler to them to make their digital development faster and speak with a single voice too technical and speak with a single technical voice to editorial so I see myself as somebody who understands where we want to go editorially but I also would like to be clear to editorial about where we need to go technically so they kind of go and adapt and the portfolio is fantastic and it's a just to tell you how much we've grown recently just to see what they what challenges were facing globally really in terms of audience acquisition in terms of new platform so that we are all trying to kind of get our journalism on but about five years ago we that portfolio only was probably about five to seven million uniques a month now we are about 85 and obviously you know there are really big ones there are really small ones all that unites them is reporting on global news stories for their audiences but how we do is we do it differently depending on which market we are at and my talk is about just basically five or four or five things which I learned in case you are interested on how you want to scale your businesses and your journalism across the world this is the most important thing which we all think about obviously they people go from desktop to mobile they then go and will do probably virtual reality in two or three years time who knows but what we definitely want to pay attention to is mobile phones and actually not even smartphones but feature phones or very cheap smartphones which invade Africa Asia which costs under hundred dollars and which enable people to go to the Internet I think this slide comes from courts and courts are one of those great publishes that actually take it take this topic about reaching next billion people on digital platforms really seriously and they write a lot about it and what they what they once did is that they realized having done some research in Africa that a lot of people think that they access more people in Africa the exes Facebook then they think that they access internet so for a lot of people in Africa for example Xing facebook means Xing internet so hands all your wonderful ideas like internet.org or you know big flying balloons over Asia somewhere by Google which is just another fascinating project which Google is involved in we obviously have started talking about mobile first approach when this term hasn't even become really mainstream for our sector so if you take Nigeria for example they jumped from radio news consumption to mobile news consumption completely avoiding desktop news consumption completely so they and this chat basically describes how we BBC's foreign services have grown on mobile phones since between 2012 or 2015 so we we are growing really fast and we are trying to figure out how to adapt our journalism to suit those platforms really well and then actually it is quite hard and sometimes you start with approaching a big news room and all you do is you take their desktop screen monitor and just turn it round into that sort of form instead of horizontal you go instead of vertical you go horizontal just to make sure that people actually look at the website wage issue with their editing the way their audience looks at it so it's it's quite important way out of the portfolio of about 85 million people we're reaching roughly about 66 67 percent are currently on mobile and we're only expecting that number to grow another thing which we really are proud about but somewhat concerned is our social referrals our social referrals are quite good I would say I think 10 plus sites get about fifty percent of their traffic from social but at the same time the appearance of instant articles by Facebook and then also Google and Twitter going into roughly the same direction also worries me a little bit because I I think what if you know what if we are not part of that and fall sorts of reason we we're really careful about just evaluating the situation but we're thinking you know as there a website seven six percent coming from social and that's overwhelmingly Facebook hindi 56% coming from social so it's big big numbers we're talking about so that finding the right balance between being on a platform and actually getting people back to your site it's quite an interesting argument have another thing is that we I think we probably have become the first major news brand which introduced the job of chat apps editor about year and a half ago so and this person the wonderful colleague of mine who just recently have one in a war a word that's together as part of the big team for together with BBC Africa for what's up Ebola service we launched our service for Ebola hit countries about what two years ago something like that maybe one and a half and it was a really good thing to be involved but the point I'm making is that chat ups are extremely complex ecosystem unlike say Facebook or Twitter or Instagram because chat apps are different and depending on different markets you need to have diversified strategy to actually get you content across and we are trying really hard just to understand what I what exactly we can do with some chat-up switch don't want to become broadcasting platforms and some charts shut shut ups which are actually encouraging brand Brent to come over another thing which I'm thinking every day is data and to be honest with you I come from like I used to be a radio editor and the radio correspondent and presenter and then I moved into video and then I moved into online and I see a lot of people who are yet to be convinced that data is something that they need to be really paying attention to and I'm talking editors every morning and you really need to start paying attention to whatever is happening not only across the last month across the last day but actually instantaneously right now so we we do a lot of data exercises with people and we really try to make sure that people think about data every time well look at this slide for example so we're doing a lot of content analysis and we're trying to figure out what services or what our website so our portfolio should be doing more for should be doing lesser this is kind of a slide to demonstrate you this is a correlation between a red line is number of stories written and the bars are different categories so it's a very simple and effective slide to show editors that sometimes perhaps the way they think about what the Commission is wrong they sometimes services or editors tend to over produce in one particular category without realizing that this category doesn't really is not really interesting to people and it's fine if nobody wants to read it why would you Commission it so I just finished one for BBC arabic which one of the really really big services for us and I really would like those analysis to be extremely practical and extremely actionable so at the end of that analysis I would present editors with about ten things that they should be doing from tomorrow and one of the interesting thing is about BBC arabic for example is that they every time they would rise a story about a profile of somebody that that particular story would it be incredibly popular and they wouldn't do it often enough so my job is to be that enabler to get those insights into peer into people's workflow I guess this is a very simple chat to explain to people again one of the one of those services I did that content analysis for this chart shows you the duration of stories against the popular popularity of those stories and this is where one of the most widespread misconceptions of mobile first approaches that people think that mobile means short well this slide shows that actually it's not red line is number of stories produced and you see you go 5,500 words plus and the number of stories actually going down whereas the blue line shows you the average pageviews per story so actually you know what you really ought to be doing you really ought to be not writing too many stories because actually you audience comes for longer ones another one same same predicament but with a promotional social another thing not a lot of stories which have been written which have were long were promoted on social the green line is actually facebook clicks per story so what we're saying is guys every time you want to promote something on Facebook don't bother with short stories because actually people want on Facebook need longer ones it just you know I'm not saying that this is a an exact thing which you should be able all to use but this is just to demonstrate how we think about those things and how we actually then what kind of talk chats we have with our editors afterwards well obviously you know companies which do instantaneous data reporting on what's happening on your websites right now chart beat for example which we're using is a very sobering tool it's actually very depressing to as well if you think about it because when people understand I'm not sure how many of you probably know about chubby but look at that chevron there sixty-six percent don't read below that line at the bottom right corner that's depressing for the editor who stares at the front page of their over of their website every day and thinking that I have just published something in the second screen and this will make a difference it what they make a difference and this people need to wake up to that sort of thinking and we we love to admit and we love data and just to kind of make the point even more stronger this is the most important phrase i'm using where they did this all the time and this is just something which i think people need to wake wake up to so sometimes you know people will come to me and say we just had a win an amazing radio interview let's publish it online and by amazing radio interview they are likely to mean that they just liked how it sounded they don't know anything about it they don't know how many people finished it how many how many people dropped off halfway through this is just something which you just need to get the thinking going in that area okay when you when you talk about content creation and I'm really big believer in the fact that you know you you can write how many strategies you want but if your content is not good enough for its not there is no reason for people to return then you might as well don't bother because it's it's really important to get your content tryin to get get sometimes get out of your comfort zone because you know sometimes people think well we at the BBC we we are really were they really serious brand which talks seriously about topics and I'm not saying we're not but what I'm saying is that we are trying to be to make to Ryan really hard to get into the markets where we are our brand perhaps is not that strong with something which will perhaps surprise people and this is a wonderful example of BBC Africa launching a satirical show specifically on YouTube we also were publishing out on our own websites but actually the ratio of popularity between of those pieces on YouTube and on our own BBC website was one to ten or ten to one so 10 times more people were interested in that kind of content on YouTube rather than on our platform so doesn't mean that the content is not working but it works somewhere on and you just need to make sure that you know where another thing you know sometimes you talk about really difficult topics which you can't really show people anything interesting about because you can't film the story and so we decided to experiment with comic strips and actually started drawing what we are talking about and this has been extremely popular thing as was this TV Syria this five part which was our experiment to commission a five-part TV / digital series and run the Monday to Friday a story with a kind of cliffhanger ending every every day Monday to Friday which was also extremely hard to do because actually you needed to convince editors that going off the beaten track and actually running something on TV which is not even filmed but drawn was a hard task but had to be done you probably know about our experiment on Instagram and we were probably again one of the first publishers to start publishing 15 seconds videos on Instagram and you know what can you tell can you tell a story in 15 seconds perhaps you can I'm thinking that you know we the popularity of those clips sometimes exceed the popularity of proper BBC two and a half minute packages this was another good example from last week or the week before last panorama which is one of the flagship BBC news programs when to cover the story of refugees and migrants and what we what we decided to do to make the story more relevant to the younger audiences we actually send an audience engagement producer with a filming crew and they did a story on snapchat not only they covered the story on snapchat but then they re-edited it afterwards and we probably were the first brand to launch a TV documentary in vertical format last month or last last week was it then that was quite interesting and you know which this space I think that there is the fact that you know we we were trying to figure out how to train all the journalists to use their phones when they film something like this and now I'm thinking well actually you know if people are using their phones like that well let's just try to do something about it another thing is that we we try as I mentioned earlier we try to be relevant to people in the places where on the owner platforms in the platform in the places where it's more most relevant to them and last last year we launched BBC tie service which doesn't have its own website which doesn't have a nap it only has facebook presence and thailand is one of the most facebook penetrated countries in the world so we decided well with you know small resources and small you know a little chance of actually launching a proper service this was done really quickly really fast way now about 1 million people who are interacting with the content of this page quite regularly so it works and you know who knows what we will do on Pinterest or you know any other platforms soon another thing which I I guess is a good example to use is that when you're running a portfolio and you have an overview of what this portfolio is doing editorially you can actually mix stories and get the stories travel from one small area and make a really big impact so this story was initially published on one of the smallest sites that BBC News has but the story was so so strong that actually it was written in a language language and suddenly it suddenly it was read by 650,000 people on the first day of publication that was a story asking story about a scandal where Gill who was going for a local equivalent of a stars and ace got zero points in seven exams out of hundred so she didn't get any any marks whatsoever and it was clear that it was a case of corruption so you know we would have made an impact with just covering a story on one language but actually by having this access to the scalability we suddenly expose it to much stronger audience which I think works same goes for BBC Brazil they appreciate that in in Brazil they are not going to be the first point of contact in you know when when the Brazilians wake up not a lot of them will go BBC Brazil as the first point of call to check their news so they decided actually to tackle news which local press either doesn't really cover well or they do a lot of social digging and they actually preempt the story and they become they set their gender and this is a good example of BBC Brazil right writing couple of stories on real Olympics and then getting traction in local press so just finish it off what I'm thinking about every day when I come to work and kind of understanding that my job is to grow that digital portfolio even even bigger so it's all about mobile and social it's all about data insights and making editors think about data it's about innovation and about engagement but crucially I think it's about also an appreciation that you should be failing because if you don't fail on digital then you know you you're not getting things right you know we are an organization which has been doing TV for god knows how many years 80 or something or 90 now radio for roughly at the same time then online for about 20 and then mobile is it's a very very new area we don't really know yet what works what doesn't but we try and fail and we give people space to innovate so try measure and try again that's it thank you very much awesome Thank You Dmitry we've time we have time for hold on we have time for a question anyone have a question we have a couple of microphones I want to start up one of the things you talked about failure everyone always talks about failure so I'd give us an example of a recent mess up no one likes to talk in specifics ah okay so last last year was involved in trying to figure out how to cover Africa well and we what we understood is that we probably have the most number of people working for us in Africa but if you go to our own our digital platforms you won't see them you won't see the mansion won't see them kind of the page is not saturated by this kind of hundred dozens of people working for the BBC in Africa so we wanted to run an ongoing live daily life blog about Africa where everyone who is working in Africa contributes regularly and what we realized as that qualitatively we were extremely happy with a with what we got but actually what we realize is that perhaps live blogging concept probably works for when when an event is unfolding yeah so we were thinking that it would be really interesting for other people to see kind of all the BBC's activities in Africa but probably it was more of the kind of internal driver than the audience need so we still you know when you talk to other organizations and they kind of they all are very happy with how we do those things because they suddenly see that you know out of you know we are present in 46 African countries but you know my goal was to make sure that at least half of them would be mentioned during the day for example just to make sure that it's not kenya nigeria and south africa all the time and and you know competitors like it audience probably only likes it when something is really happening in particular parts of text region that was a good one that qualifies cool Dimitri thank you very much thank you very appreciated

Lionel Messi and co have seen their arch-rivals Real Madrid struggle significantly since Cristiano Ronaldo left the club, providing little competition 12 points behind in third place. Ernesto Valverde’s side also have a Champions League quarter-final tie with Manchester United with the first leg commencing on the 10th of April. Despite there being a lot of things to cheer about if you are associated with Barca, one player who has been struggling to make an impact in the midst of all this success is Philippe Coutinho. The Brazilian’s high profile transfer from Liverpool was supposed to set La Liga by storm, however the 26-year-old has failed to settle in to the Spanish side’s system. Messi to have internal interview regarding Panenka Mustafi to Messi in 10 seconds Bellerin: ‘Spurs are always in Arsenal’s shadow’ However, it seems that three clubs are willing to give Coutinho an escape route from his Barcelona nightmare. The midfielder has only mustered four goals in 27 league games this season but according to Sport, Coutinho’s agent’s phone has been blowing up. Manchester United, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain have all reportedly contacted Coutinho’s team, enquiring about a potential deal. United have quite a few big names on their transfer targets list, but Coutinho is one that has cropped up numerous times since he left LIverpool. Chelsea will be looking to strengthen and pair up Coutinho with Eden Hazard, but would need UEFA to lift their transfer ban. Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain could be thinking a signing of Coutinho’s calibre will finally upgrade them from Champions League contenders to winners of the most prestigious prize in club football. Gerard Pique said back in February that Coutinho was not “plugged in” during training and that his transfer fee “means there are more expectations of his performance level”. Even though these expectations have not been met in Spain, a potential return to the where the Brazilian thrived could be on the horizon.

Views:236|Rating:0.00|View Time:3:48Minutes|Likes:0|Dislikes:0 The UEFA Champions League quarter-final draw took place on Friday morning throwing up some mouth-watering clashes. Having done away with German giants Bayern Munich, Liverpool were arguably handed the easiest assignment as they were drawn alongside Porto while Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus will take on Real Madrid conquerer’s, Ajax. Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City will tussle it out in the only all-English clash in the last eight. The biggest tie of the round will see newly reborn Manchester United tackle Spanish superpower Barcelona. The Red Devils looked all but out after Paris Saint-Germain tore them apart at Old Trafford but staged a monumental comeback, conquering their Parisian Everest to book a spot in the last eight. Manchester United’s Champions League quarter-final tie against Barcelona had to be reversed Video of Lionel Messi’s 22 goals against English clubs in the Champions League Lionel Messi was superb the last time Barcelona played Man Utd at Old Trafford However, fans will have cringed when United were coughed up alongside Barcelona on Friday, in what can only be described as the worst possible draw for the Manchester side. Barca have a fantastic record against United in European competition, winning their last two encounters, both finals, quite comfortably. With the likes of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez bearing down on them, it will be interesting to see how Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s resurgent side holds out. Messi especially has been in sublime form of late and history proves that the Argentine superstar loves a game against United. With 36 goals to his name already this season, Messi will be confident of halting United’s progress in this year’s competition. The Red Devils, however, might just find some solace in Messi’s dreadful record in Champions League quarter-finals. The 31-year-old has failed to score in last 11 fixtures at this stage of the tournament – a bizarre baron stretch spanning over six seasons. In fact, you have to go as far back as April 2013 to find the last time Barca’s leading goalscorer netted in a last eight tie. Last season, Messi was helpless as his side crashed out at the same stage after a stunning 3-0 loss to Roma and United will be hoping for a similarly toothless performance from the great man. The five-time Balon d’Or winner also drew a blank in prior quarter-final clashes with Juventus, twice against Atletico Madrid and in Barca’s 2015 tie with PSG. Should the curse of the last eight strike again for Messi, United might just have a chance of causing a big upset. It’s going to be quite a tie – we can’t wait.
the UEFA Champions League quarter-final draw took place on Friday morning throwing up some mouth-watering clashes having done away with German giants byron munich Liverpool were arguably handed the easiest assignment as they were drawn alongside Porto while Cristiano Ronaldo's Juventus will take on Real Madrid conkers Ajax Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City will tussle it out in the only all English clash in the last eight the biggest tie of the round will seem newly reborn Manchester United tackle Spanish super power Barcelona the Red Devils looked all but out after Paris saint-germain tore them apart at Old Trafford but staged a monumental comeback conquering their Parisian Everest to book a spot in the last eight Manchester United's Champions League quarter-final tie against Barcelona had to be reversed video of Lionel Messi's 22 goals against English clubs in the Champions League Lionel Messi was superb the last time Barcelona played Man United at Old Trafford however fans will have cringed when United were coughed up alongside Barcelona on Friday in what can only be described as the worst possible draw for the Manchester side Barca have a fantastic record against United in European competition winning their last two encounters both finals quite comfortably with the likes of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez bearing down on them it will be interesting to see how ill a gunner soldiers resurgence side holds out Messi especially has been in sublime form of late and history proves that the Argentine superstar loves a game against United with 36 goals to his name already this season Messi will be confident of halting United's progress in this year's competition the Red Devils however might just find some solace in Messi's dreadful record in Champions League quarter-finals the 31 year old has failed to score in last 11 fixtures at this stage of the tournament the bizarre barren stretch spanning over six seasons in fact you have to go to as far back as April 2013 to find the last time Marquez leading goal scorer netted in the last eight time last season Messi was helpless as his side crashed out at the same stage after a stunning 3-0 loss to Roma and United will be hoping for a similarly toothless performance from the great man the five-time fail and door winner also drew a blank in prior quarterfinal clashes with Juventus twice against Atletico Madrid and in Barca's 2015 tie with PSG should the curse of the last 8 strike again for Messi United might just have a chance of causing a big offset it's going to be quite a tie we can't wait

Frank Lampard has launched a verbal assault on air against the LBC talk show host James O’Brien after he felt the presenter was accusing him of not looking after his children properly. The Chelsea star has recently split from girlfriend Elen Rives.
Premiership star Frank Lampard phoned in to a live radio show today to defend himself against his former fiancée’s claims he is ‘heartless’.
The Chelsea and England star launched into a bitter tirade at LBC presenter James O’Brien after being accused of abandoning his two daughters after the split last year.
Clearly furious, he rang in after O’Brien said men who let their children live in inferior circumstances to them were ‘weak and scum’.
Miss Rives had claimed yesterday that she, Luna, two, and Isla, one, were living in a small flat while Lampard had turned their £8.5million townhouse into a ‘bachelor pad’.
But today he angrily dismissed claims he had forced her out of their home and was seeing other girls.
He told LBC: ‘The hardest part of this whole break-up for me is not waking up with my kids every day. It breaks my heart – do you think I’m happy?’
Lampard, 30, indicated it was in fact his girlfriend who had decided to move out in the high-charged call in which he criticised O’Brien for even discussing their break-up.
During the extraordinary 15-minute rant, he blasted: ‘I hope one day your wife or girlfriend doesn’t come to you and say she doesn’t want to be with you, and that means you won’t see the kids a few days a week.’
He added: ‘You don’t know anything about me. I find it insulting that you are insinuating that I am weak and scum because I have not fought tooth and nail.
‘You’re saying “Any man that lets his kids live in inferior circumstances to him is weak and scum”. You’re insinuating that about me.
‘You’re degrading to them as a human being… I grade myself as a human being as how well I bring up my kids.’
He continued: ‘I have woken up sometimes and seen a newspaper report of me coming out of a bar or club and they take pictures of two different women who I have never ever spoken to and say I spent all night sitting next to them.
‘Then I have to wake up and listen to idiots like you, I have to put up with it and I’ve got to keep my mouth shut.’
Lampard said he was already ‘distressed’ because today was the first anniversary of his beloved mother Pat’s death and the radio’s discussion had made him and his family even more upset.
‘My sister has been listening to this and it’s the anniversary of my mum’s death, so do you think my sister needs to hear you saying things like that on a radio station,’ he said.
‘Sometimes you need to think about things before you speak about them. I’ll speak to you man to man about that, forget the radio station, I’ll speak to you man to man.’
Pat, 58, died after battling pneumonia for 10 days. Her son was extremely close to her and wore a black armband on the pitch following her death.
His comments today come just days after Rives revealed she is struggling to come to terms with life without him after their seven-year relationship ended in November.
‘He is so heartless. He’s moved on and is seeing other girls,’ the former air hostess, 34, said.
‘I text him to tell him I’m not coping, but he doesn’t care. I cry to him on the phone but I get nothing from him. No emotion, just blank. He’s a b*****d.’
During a night out at the London nightclub Bungalow 8, she said: ‘I still love Frank. I’ve been crying all night. I want things to work out, but don’t know if it will.
‘I don’t know if he’ll come round. I don’t know what to do. To be honest I’m not doing very well. He’s in our house which he has turned into a bachelor pad.
‘And I’m in a small flat waiting for my own flat with our two daughters. The house is in his name. We’re not married so I’m not getting the house.
‘I miss him but he is with another girl. He says she is nothing serious but in the papers it looks more serious. I text him but get no response’
‘Everyone says I’m the strong one, but I’m not coping. I’m 34 and old now, what am I supposed to do? It’s too late for me,’ she told the Daily Mirror.
‘The papers say I’m 29, but I’m 34. I don’t know what I want to do now. I’m not like Coleen [Wayne Rooney’s wife] who is 23 with a great career – so I don’t know how I can move on.’
The footballer, who earns £120,000 a week split from Rives last November after a seven-year relationship.
He has recently been linked with millionaire’s daughter Saskia Boxford, 23, but has insisted he is not dating her and they only had dinner together once.
you've read of the papers now unfortunately if you're going to be a man that reads the papers and takes everything as gospel trooper and on the radio starts calling people weak and scum then that you know that's the sort of how you are they even a sign of the reality luckily enough to like the last court I heard there are some actually genuine people out there that don't wait that is that is the nature of what I do for a little white open and people can call me an idiot people can call me whatever they want and people like you can phone in and say why the newspapers have got it wrong but you'll accept that the sixty million people in this country don't have the privilege of phoning up Frank Lampard for his side of the story they're going to read what they see in the papers and then all their own conclusion that doesn't make it right that they can draw the conclusion that you're wrong which is a completely negative one where you're calling me weak and scam I was asking questions to which you have now provided some answers on and for me if you want if you want to get it down to brass tacks for me if you've got little girls and this is going to sound awful but issue I have little girls of three and one I can't conceive of any circumstances in which I wouldn't fight tooth and flippin nail to hold my family together give me what you've been copying down to the last two years let me tell you something now right my mother died a year ago today right which has been a huge impact on my life my family's life on my sister's life and unfortunately that's had a huge peak impact on my relationship at home and that there is nothing I wish I could do a lot about there but unfortunately I can't do nothing about that so I find it insulting you're telling me you would fight tooth for now insinuating that I wouldn't fight – for now that sort of spent time doing you don't know anything about me and you're insinuating I'm weak and scum because I haven't thought – for now the hardest part of this whole breakout for me is not waking up with my kids every day so before you start insinuating and calling people weak and scum on a radio station sitting on a high horse which you are because I hope one day that your wife or your girlfriend doesn't come to you and say I don't want to be with you anymore and unfortunately that means you won't see the kids for a few days a week that will hurt you as well but you'll have to deal with it it would it would break my heart friend yeah my heart you think I'm happy of course I don't think that you're happy and that's why I'm delighted you've taken this opportunity to have your say well then you should stop insinuating but I'm not insinuating anything Frank I'm merely describing a news story my friend then I appreciate that yeah listen your son any man the Lexus kids living in serious circumstances him is waking scum yes I am saying you're telling me you lock that man so in a way you agree with me no yeah but I'm not giving you out of that maybe I was describing a new story let's not get this good listen at the time sign that statement you're talking about me correct or not it's a last four-point plan conversation I thought was about me my fish has been listening for the last half an hour and the conversations about me sorry listen I'm not going I'm not going to apologize to you for reading our story for reading out a story from the newspaper and and drawing generalistic questions I did for what we've explained yourself absolutely brilliantly and what I'd like you to do in future is when you read I know you've got a radio so you want to draw the bait from people so you want to be quite strong on one side of the other so someone else brings out otherwise people wouldn't bring up if you sat on the fence completely but when it becomes the personal issues about people's families about people's kids and then you're degrading it as to them as a human being that they are because I know listen I need my little woman being as how I bring up my kid I mean what you say I have to wake up sometimes and see a newspaper report any time I walk into a bar and I walk out of a bar and they take a picture of two different women I've never spoke to in that evening and they said that I was sitting there in the club but in people I have no defense of that and I have to wake up and then listen to idiots like you say I read this and this is what he's doing and it's wrong but I have to part with it and I keep my mouth shut but today I write the only reason I ring you is because my sisters distress and as a situation and virtually my mum's dead yes so do you think my sister needs to hear if you excite you stand on the radio station of course I don't I was completely unaware I know your family under how Surrey I'm used to think about things before you speak about it because you're speaking about personal people now of course I think about man-to-man forget the radio shall I speak to you man-to-man about that I'd welcome that opportunity Frank and I will apologize to your family for referred for drawing up difficult domestic situations on a day which was clearly of enormous emotional well impacts already I'll offer that apology unreservedly but you'll understand that I'm not likely to adversary' like that in my desktop diary

Manchester United has entered the race to sign French star Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona this summer.
Barcelona signed Dembele from Borussia Dortmund last season, for an exorbitant fee of £135.5 million.
His integration into the team hasn’t been smooth, and Barcelona seem okay to let him go so soon.
Also, as reported by Skysports, Manchester United rejected a £45 million plus Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes bid from Barcelona for the services of Paul Pogba.
With United interested in Dembele and Barcelona interested in Pogba- a player swap-deal is a possible solution. And, according to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona is ready to use Dembele as bait to lure Pogba away from United…
Manchester United has entered the race to sign French stars London Bell from Barcelona this summer Barcelona signed dumbbell from Bordeaux Co Dortmund last season for an exorbitant fee of one hundred thirty five point five million pounds his integration into the team hasn't been smooth and Barcelona seemed okay to let him go so soon also as reported by Sky Sports Manchester United rejected a forty five million pounds plus yari Mena and Andre Gomes but from Barcelona for the services of Paul Pogba with United interested in dumbbell and Barcelona interested in po ba player swap deal as a possible solution and according to Mundo Deportivo Barcelona is ready to use them Bella's bait to lure pooh-bah away from United the dumbbell transfer saga started off a couple of weeks ago who now Emory has been greatly interested in bringing Tim Bell to Arsenal this summer according to Mundo Deportivo Arsenal is ready to pay Barcelona 10 million pound loan fee for a year with the condition that the move will be made permanent next year for an additional 90 million pounds on the other hand according to the standard Paul Pogba has agreed to sign for Barcelona on a five-year deal Pogba and more green you don't enjoy a great working relationship that's a fact maybe that will give ba gua leverage to force a move away from the club this summer Paul Pogba is unhappy at Manchester United over the last season or so his relationship with Morrie nu has soured and is therefore opened to a new challenge abroad more green u2 hasn't had the very best of start to the season in earth some preseason to say the least he's made his opinions on United's transfer business this summer absolutely clear Tim Bell may not be Bale but he's an extremely talented young winger who is a bright future ahead of him but as of today Arsenal is said to be leading the race to sign Tim Bell according to the Metro Arsenal has already launched a formal bid 89 pounds for the French superstar just how Chelsea cannot afford to lose hazard this season Manchester United cannot afford to lose pogba this season he's the talisman of the team whether were not mourning you likes to accept that fact the transfer window shuts in three days and that's the biggest reason why it's highly unlikely that this transfer will happen one thing's for sure Baba is definitely going to have a say in the matter this could turn out to be a very interesting and season defining transfer if it happens that is the key ingredient of this transfer lies in the answer to the question how bad is the relationship between Mourinho and pooh-bah is it repairable or not if United is forced to sell coke bah this summer only a swap player deal will make sense Jim Bell is an exciting young player with loads of potential and getting him in return for poke ball wouldn't constitute to be bad business really an interesting domino effect of this transfer would be that Marshall will finally be allowed to leave the club if feeling great videos like and subscribe to my channel do not forget to tell us your feelings thank you for watching

Philippe Coutinho left Liverpool in January 2018 for a fee that could rise to £142million. The Brazilian has had a mixed start to life at Barcelona and has already been linked with a move back to the . Liverpool have fared well without Coutinho and are in the hunt for their first top-flight title since 1990. Sherwood believes Liverpool still need a creative midfielder like Coutinho and reckons they will try to buy one in the summer. However, he believes they will get one over the 26-year-old if they can win the Champions League before Barca. “If they would have liked to have kept any player it would have been Coutinho,” Sherwood said. “I think he’s that one who can open up the defence, he’s got that cute pass, little bit of disguise on his pass, that guile which I think they miss. “I’m sure they’ll be looking for that. “They certainly could do with a Christian Eriksen-type, or Coutinho who they had at the club. “Obviously he wanted to leave to go to Barcelona. “Hopefully for Liverpool’s sake they win a Champions League and Barcelona don’t and it will prove his decision was wrong.” Sky Sports presenter Kelly Cates is the daughter of the last manager to win the league for Liverpool, Kenny Dalglish. And she says Sherwood was asking a lot for Liverpool to prove Coutinho wrong. “Okay, it’s a big ask isn’t it, it’s a big ask,” she replied. Liverpool and Barcelona could be drawn against each other at Friday’s Champions League quarter-final draw.

Coutinho was whistled by his home supporters in Barcelona’s 3-1 victory over Rayo Vallecano on Saturday. Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez continued to thrive as Ernesto Valverde’s side came from behind but Coutinho was dragged off with 10 minutes to go. His replacement, Ivan Rakitic, set-up Suarez moments after replacing the former Liverpool man. Now the Brazil international has appeared to have had enough, as he has told friends he wants to leave and has spoken to Manchester United players about a switch to Old Trafford according to the Mirror.Coutinho is believed to miss the but knows Jurgen Klopp’s side are unlikely to want him back. The ex-Liverpool midfielder reportedly refused to train the summer prior to signing for Barcelona. The Catalan giants eventually got their way with persistent pestering and the Reds were forced to sell their talisman in the winter window. It is also suggested Reds sporting director Michael Edwards insisted on a clause that meant Barcelona had to pay a premium if they were to try and sign another Liverpool star. This has caused tensions between the two clubs which makes a return to Anfield for Coutinho problematic. United is thought to be his preferred destination but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team are not the only club interested in his services.Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be interested having wanted Coutinho whilst he was at Liverpool. Barcelona pipped Thomas Tuchel’s side to his signature last year and with the La Liga side beating PSG to the signature of Frenkie De Jong, they reportedly want revenge.Coutinho has scored eight times and set up his team-mates five times in 38 appearances in all competitions this campaign.

Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic could be leaving the club at the end of the season, reports claim.
Rakitic’s contract is set to expire in June 2021 – by which time the Croatia international will have turned 32.
Spanish newspaper Sport claim Rakitic’s entourage have pestered Barcelona for a meeting to discuss an extension.
However, Barcelona chiefs have reportedly refused to discuss the situation and say a new contract for Rakitic is not part of their plans.
La Gazzetta dello Sport believe the midfielder will be joining Inter Milan over the summer in a deal worth £35million.
Arsenal are ready to move for Sevilla midfielder Ever Banega this summer.
The Mirror claim Unai Emery is a huge fan of the 30-year-old after working with him at Sevilla and Valencia – and he’s keen to reunite in London.
Arsenal tried to sign Banega in January, however, a deal wasn’t agreed.
The Gunners will have to cough up around £17m for Banega this summer.
Manchester United were interested in signing Miguel Almiron months before he joined Newcastle, according to his agent.
Almiron became Newcastle’s record signing when arriving from Atlanta in a £21million deal on deadline day.
But things could have been very different for the Paraguay international.
“Manchester United was interested in Miguel Almiron,” his agent Daniel Campo told ParaguayTVHD.
Barcelona are close to completing a £17million double deal for Palmeiras starlets Vitao and Luan Candido.
That’s according to Goal, who claim negotiations with the players’ representatives have reached an advanced stage.
Vitao, who captains the Brazil Under-20 team, is a versatile centre-half who can also operate as a defensive midfielder.
The 19-year-old has already flown to Europe with his agent to ‘complete the formalities’ of an exciting move to the Nou Camp.
Candido, meanwhile, is a talented 18-year-old left-back and will likely join Vitao in Barcelona’s B team or be loaned out to gain experience.
Real Madrid could use winger Gareth Bale as part of an audacious swap deal to sign Chelsea’s Eden Hazard.
That’s according to Spanish newspaper Marca, who claim Bale has exhausted his ‘extra life’ at the Bernabeu.
Bale, 29, has started just two of Real Madrid’s last seven games under manager Santiago Solari since his return from injury.
The Welshman has found it difficult to displace teenage prodigy Vinicius Junior and could be used to finance summer signings, Marca add.
It’s said Real Madrid would like to ‘take advantage’ of Chelsea’s interest in Bale and use him in future negotiations to sign Hazard.

Coutinho, 26, has been linked with a return to the in recent months, a competition he set alight as a Liverpool player between 2013 and 2018. It has been rumoured that the former Inter Milan midfielder could be involved in a sensational return to his former club, but according to the Independent – it is highly unlikely. One English club that reportedly remain keen on Coutinho are Chelsea, who would seek to sign the Barcelona creator if Eden Hazard forces through a move to Real Madrid in the summer. Coutinho himself has admitted that ‘nobody knows’ what can happen in football, but insists Barcelona are his only priory from now until the end of the season. “Nobody knows what will happen in the future,” he told beIN Sports. “All I have in my head right now is to work hard.” Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu has been more firm in his stance over his club’s record signing, and revealed they haven’t considered selling the player. “Are we going to consider the sale of Coutinho? No. It’s a club bet,” Bartomeu told El Partidazo de COPE. “He plays differently, he knows how we play, we do not want to sell Coutinho.” Coutinho is, according to L’Equipe, the third best paid player at Barcelona, with his move from Liverpool landing him a contract worth £2million a month. Despite the exit rumours, transfer expert Guillem Balague is adamant that the Liga leaders are keen for Coutinho to stay and try to turn his career at the Nou Camp into a success. “Barcelona don’t want to get rid of him now,” he said on the GB Transfer Show. “That is the end of that obviously, that became very clear earlier in the [January] transfer window.” Whatever happens, it seems improbable that Coutinho will be seen in a Liverpool shirt again with Anfield chiefs not planning a move for the playmaker.

The move was was backed 70-10 in a ballot boycotted by opposition MPs.
Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy earlier told senators direct rule was needed to return “law, democracy and stability” to Catalonia.
The crisis began when Catalans backed independence in a disputed vote earlier this month.
The Catalan government said that of the 43% who took part in the referendum, 90% were in favour of independence. But Spain’s Constitutional Court had ruled the vote illegal.
Spain’s Senate is still to vote on whether for the first time to enact Article 155 of the Spanish constitution, which empowers the government to take “all measures necessary to compel” a region in case of a crisis.
It would enable Madrid to fire Catalan leaders, and take control of the region’s finances, police and public media.
